SquashRochester …now tweeting!
June 11th, 2009 Mithun Mukherjee Posted in General
Its not like we’re suddenly jumping on the social media bandwagon. SquashRochester has been blogging since 2005 and the 38 member strong Facebook group has been around for a while. So Twitter was only a matter of time. If you’re a part of the squash community, heres why you would want to follow us on Twitter. Think about the times when:
- you missed a Yellowjacket match (how dare you!) and wondered about the result
- you had no idea there was a youth squash clinic (perfect to keep those brats occupied!) coming up
- you were playing the amateur event in the Rochester ProAm and wanted to keep up with the pro matches being played out the same time that weekend (although scheduling will probably be revised to avoid this in the future)
- you’re a Midtown squasher and wonder whats going on in the Med Center squash world and vice versa
- you have no idea whats going on in the bigger, broader world of squash nationally and internationally
So if you’re already on Twitter, FOLLOW US! And if you’re not on Twitter, then get with the program!
And while you’re at it, here are some squash related twitter pages worth following:
