Minutes from November board meeting:

Present: Bridget Borsa, Jack Fitzpatrick, Bill Lampeter, Mithun Mukherjee, Mark Raeside, Morgan Smith, Amanda Smrcka

Treasurers report: Presented by Bill Lampeter
Disbursements made for: U of R team exhibition and youth clinic
Fees due: to PSA for pro tournament
Yield on investments: 8.7% year to date

Review of Jack Armstrong tournament:
Jack Fitzpatrick mentions that this year’s format ending on Saturday was well recieved.
There was a good turnout. Next year will include an effort to enlarge the 3.0 draw.
The doubles draw attracted several new players. Look for an informal doubles event this winter.

Rochester/Buffalo event:
The initial interaction included Eric Hernady, Jonathan Hagar, Hugh Higgins, and Mithun Mukherjee. Next time some +/- 4.0 players will be added.

U of R exhibition:
10 local players took the court with U of R Yellowjacket players. The event was well attended, with approximately 50 people enjoying the two showcase matches.

Urban Squash:
Mithun and Bob Good have had discussions with an after-school program expert. The possibility of a short squash camp program is being evaluated.

City Leagues:
Rail Station, the US Squash equivalent of our box league software, will be used in parallel to our current system for the winter session. This evaluation period will require that captains enter weekly scores into both systems. One benifit of this exercise is that league participants will be ranked nationally by the system.
