Div 1 Playoffs

I will do a write-up for the RSRA website, and am trying to come up with the right opening line.
Trying to decide among:
1. The world was stunned when GVC 1 lost….
2. The universe was astounded when MT2 won….
3. In the whole solar system, never has there been such an astonishing turn of events…
4. David slaying Goliath was nothing compared to what happened at Mid-Town Tuesday night..
5. At least the Jets had Namath when they shocked the Colts….
6. In the upset of the century….
7. Evil triumphed over good at Mid-Town last Tuesday…

(naw, skip #7, it seems a little exaggerated)
