2006 City Championships & Season End Party

Thank you all for coming out and supporting squash in Rochester!

And finally, heres what went down all of last week at Harro and Midtown – Pictures !!!!

Here are the long awaited draws – because of the smaller draw sizes, the 5.0 and 4.5 draws were combined as were the 3.5 and 4.0 draws. The combined 3.0 and 2.0 draws will be played in a round robin format. Questions: Email tournaments@squashrochester.org .

Get ready for the big finale! It’s been a great season so come on out for one last hurrah!

Format
Flights: 5.0 – 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.5 – 3.0 – 2.0/Beginner
Guaranteed a minimum of two tournament matches (main/consolation). Divisions may be combined prior to the start of the tournament. Balls are supplied: double yellow dot or blue/red dot by mututal agreement. This event is not USSRA sanctioned. Protective eyewear required during all play including practice. All participants will have to sign waivers at the venues.

Schedule
Lead-in matches will be played from Monday April 24 through Friday April 28 between 5 and 9 pm at Harro East Club. Main and consolation finals will be played on April 29 between 1 and 5 pm at Mid-Town Athletic Club. Season end party is at the Mid-Town Paddle Hut following the finals on April 29 between 6 and 8 pm and includes snacks and drinks, and the league, Lyman and Weymuller awards.

Prizes & Goodies
Merchandise will be awarded to main draw champions, finalists, and consolation winners. T-shirt, drinks and pizza during the lead-in rounds. Match loser keeps the ball. And of course, the party!

Entry & Draws
Registration closed. Want to know who else is signed up? Tournament fee is $25 for RSRA members, $35 if not. The party is free for non-players but we ask that you please register. Deadline is April 23 at noon. Draws will be posted on the website by April 23rd. Updated match results will also be available on the website.
